Books:

#GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso. Sophia started selling vintage clothing on eBay to help pay for medical bill which flourished into her 250-million dollar online website – Nasty Gal. This book helps and inspires women on how to become successful and get what they want in the work place, hence the Girl Boss.

The 4-hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss. I think this book is a must read for not only entrepreneurs but every hard working person. A lot of times in corporate work setting you’ll hear people counting down the days and hours until the weekend when in fact they can read this book to learn how their mind set doesn’t need to revolve on waiting for the weekend to live life to the fullest. I started reading this book in Thailand where the majority of expats there confessed that they changed their life and moved to Thailand BECAUSE of this one book. This book is life changing.

The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau. A rather quick read this boko shows you that you don’t always need money to start your business, just a good idea and drive. Each section has a real life story about someone who made their business off a desire to have more free time and do what they believe in. Some stories had great success and others not so much, but the concept of the book shows you how you can do it to!

Travel Sites:

Nomadic Matt: As a New York Times best seller he has travel trips for pretty much all over the world. He writes books to supplement his travel plans and has great recommendations. I always look to his blog before traveling to a new place. His advice is always budget friendly which is helpful for millennials traveling on a tight budget. He also has tips on how to create a life of travel, not just a week long trip – he teaches you how travel can be your life.

Secret Flying: Don’t know where to go next? Have time and can track flight deals? Check Secret Flying! This site is designed to finding loop holes in flights around the WORLD and get you a deal of the century.
